Club Announce Sides for Final Weekend News - Lead Story Written by BRCC    Wednesday, 09 September 2009 07:51 Ben Rhydding Cricket Club have announced their sides for the final weekend of the 2009 league season.  The 1st team travel to Olicanians with one enforced change.  Oliver Musgrave comes in to the side with Mark Booth missing for personal reasons.  The 1stXI will look to finish off a memorable season with victory which could see them finish in 3rd position in the table, narrowly missing out on promotion and will finish a run of matches where the side have been unbeaten since an unfortunate defeat at Ilkley on the 11th July.  A run of 8 games of which 6 have been won with one victim to the weather and last weeks losing draw to Skipton.  A terrific run and fantastic effort from all the players. The 2nd team face Division 3 champions Thackley at home, showing 3 changes to the side that maintained a 3 game unbeaten run with a losing draw at Skipton last Saturday.  U17s Nathan Procter and Marcus Jenkins together with seasoned performer Alistair Macellan come in to the side with Kieran Mitcheall and Andrew Malley missing and Oliver Musgrave playing in the 1st team.  The 2nd team will look to complete an unbeaten finish to a season which has seen them record their highest ever points total since the club joined the Airedale and Wharfedale Senior Cricket League in 2001.
